Jim Radford
Jim Radford, President of OTF Resources, LLC.
Jim has spent nearly his entire professional career gaining expertise in various sectors of energy work. After receiving a B.A. in Physics from the University of Saint Thomas in Saint Paul, MN, Jim went on to work as an applications engineer for McQuay Air Conditioning. From 1992 to 2002, Jim served in the roles of Product Manager and Key Account Manager at Minnegasco (now Centerpoint Energy). In this time, Jim was responsible for contract negotiation with Minnegasco’s many large industrial clients, and also in the development of Minnegasco as a leader in energy conservation in the Midwest. Jim oversaw projects in electric generation, district energy, and helped to implement custom rebate programs for Minnegasco customers.
In 2002, Jim established OTF Resources, which for the last 20 years has provided customized energy consulting services for his clients. From the Minnesota Twins, to Reynolds Food Packaging, to Cold Spring Brewing Company, Jim has helped his clients maximize incentives for capital projects. He works on behalf of his customers to lower their energy bills, negotiate federal refunds, implement rate reductions, and provide sales tax compliance.
Jim is an expert in planning and implementation of capital spending. He is experienced in multi-state utility costing and tariffs and can provide support for large scale solar projects.
